Leave profiles allow users to define specific rules and settings for different types of leaves tailored to various employment statuses within the platform. By following the steps outlined below, users can effectively set up and maintain customized leave profiles to accurately track and manage employee leaves based on their employment type.
Sign in to Hubler as an administrator.
Next, access the Admin section by selecting the "Go to Admin" button located in the top right corner of the screen.
In the Admin section, click on the hamburger icon situated at the top left corner of the canvas.
From the list of options presented, select "Profiles."
On the left pane, you will find the various profile categories, with the corresponding profile displayed at the center of the canvas.
To create a new Leave profile, click on the "ADD LEAVE PROFILE" button located on the top right corner of the canvas.
Provide a descriptive name for the Leave profile and click on "Create."
If you need to add multiple Leave profiles, simply click the "+" icon next to the added name.
Navigate to the Leave Profiles section within the Hubler platform.
Select the desired leave profile from the list.
Click on "Create New Leave" button to add a new leave with the following details.
Leave Name - Define the name of the leave.
Type - Select the type of leave (Cumulative/Compensatory/Optional/Unpaid)
Total No of Days - Enter the number of days for the leave type.
Added - Select the frequency when the leaves will be added. (Annually/Half Yearly/Quarterly/Monthly/One Time)
Gender - Select the gender for whom the leave will be applicable. (Male/Female/Others/All)
Carry Forward - Select if the leave can be carry forwarded or not. (Yes/No)
Add Type - Select if the leave type is Pre or Post.
Click "Create" to save the changes.
You can also add the leaves directly from the list by selecting the "Add from list" option.
Select the auto-popped up leave options and click on "Add Selected" to confirm the changes.
Full-Time Leave Profile:
Use Case: Create a leave profile specifically for full-time employees, defining rules and settings for their annual leave entitlement, accrual, carryover limits, and any other parameters relevant to full-time employment.
Example Scenario: Full-time employees can refer to the full-time leave profile to understand their entitled leave days, accrual rates, and any restrictions on carrying over unused leave days.
Part-Time Leave Profile:
Use Case: Establish a leave profile tailored to part-time employees, setting rules and parameters for their leave entitlement, accrual rates, and any specific policies based on their part-time employment status.
Example Scenario: Part-time employees can refer to the part-time leave profile to understand their entitled leave days proportionate to their working hours and any specific rules related to their part-time status.
Contractor Leave Profile:
Use Case: Create a leave profile specifically for contractors, defining rules and settings related to their leave entitlement based on the duration of their contract, accrual rates (if applicable), and any specific policies for contractors.
Example Scenario: Contractors can refer to the contractor leave profile to understand their entitled leave days based on the terms of their contract, accrual rules (if any), and any specific policies related to leaves during their contract period.
By following the provided instructions, users can create and manage customized leave profiles based on the type of employment, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient management of employee leaves tailored to full-time employees, part-time employees, and contractors.
